Yvonne C. "Bin" Snow

Yvonne "Bin" C. Snow, 76, of Middlefield passed away peacefully on Monday August 5, 2013 at Middlesex Hospital. She had been the wife of Richard Snow for 50 years.

Born June 4, 1937 in Meriden to the late Theophile and Roseanna (Gilbert) Rioux, she had been a longtime Middlefield resident.

Bin was affectionately known to her family as everyone's favorite babysitter. She was a cake decorator and loved to cook. She loved her cat Alice and will be truly missed by all of her family and friends.

In addition to her husband Richard, she is survived by her 5 siblings, Ruth Williams, Claire Cosker, both of Southington, Clifford Rioux, Rita Maskell, and Diane Tullar, all of Meriden and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 6 siblings: Roland, Antoine, Theresa, Margaret, Ferdinand and Oliver.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday August 10, 2013 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in South End Cemetery, Southington.
