Winifred "Wini" C. Brennan

Winifred “Wini” (Crowley) Brennan, 88, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at LiveWell in Plantsville, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Wini was born on August 11, 1934 in New Britain to the late Francis and Estella (Broziak) Brennan.

Wini worked as a registered nurse at Plainville Healthcare for many years. She was a former President of the Women’s Club in Southington and had a special love for animals, especially her beloved pets, Twinkle, Rusty and Pugsley.

In addition to her parents, Wini was predeceased by her husband John Brennan. She is survived by her son, Terrence Brennan of Southington and her daughter, Erin Hanson and her husband Bruce of Berwick, ME.

A funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St, Plantsville. Burial will be held privately in St. Mary’s Cemetery, New Britain.
