William Hoey

William Hoey, 78, of Southington passed away Thursday April 29, 2010 at Bristol Hospital. He was the husband of the late Joan (Reardon) Hoey. Born July 6, 1931 in Waterbury to the late Clarence and Margaret (Gunnoud) Hoey. He had lived in Southington for many years. Before his retirement, he was a service manager for Parsons Chevrolet.

He is survived by one daughter Brenda Dorman and her husband Todd of Southington, and one son William Hoey Jr. of Guilford; two sisters, Anne C. Hoey and Eleanor Knuchel, both of Waterbury; one grandson Allen Atkins and his wife Tiffany of Plantsville, and one great-grandson Gavin Atkins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Jack and Jim Hoey and two sisters, Jeanne Rode and Margie Jacques.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 4, 2010 at 10am at Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St. Plantsville. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Southington. Calling hours will be held Monday, May 3, 2010 from 4pm to 7pm at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St. Plantsville, CT.
