Wilfred McKenney Jr

Wilfred McKenney Jr., 65 of Naugatuck died Thursday March 18, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital, Waterbury. He was the beloved husband of Jacqueline (Syrotchen) McKenney for 32 years.

Born April 15, 1944 in Southington to the late Wilfred McKenney Sr. and Naomi (Granniss) McKenney he had been a longtime Naugatuck resident.

Mr. McKenney owned and operated the JMack Escort Company for many years. He was a member of the Lion's Club and the Masonic Order.

In addition to his wife Jackie he is survived by five sons: Wilfred McKenney III and wife Doryann of, VT, Dwight McKenney and his fiance Stacey of CT, Robert McKenney and wife Loretta of VT, Dean McKenney and wife Sandra and Dana McKenney and fiance Cheryl all of CT; two daughters, Carol Parks and husband Stephen of VT and Jacqueline Camacho and fiance Eric of CT; two sisters Carolyn Mansolf and husband Robert of CT and Joan Morrison of PA; 19 grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by one grandson, Harley McKenney and his sister Patricia Standish.

Funeral services will be held Monday March 22, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in South End Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours are Sunday March 21st from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home
