Thomas J. Feeley 68, of Milldale died Sunday, November 29, 2009 after a two-year battle with mesothelioma cancer. He was the beloved husband of Diane (Zoufaly) for 41 years and passed away with her by his side. Tom was born May 15,1941 in Shenandoah, PA and was the son of Loretta Feeley and the late Thomas Feeley. He graduated from Cardinal Brennan High School and joined the Navy in 1959 to 1963. His active service was on the ship USS Forest Royal and participated in the FRAM (Fleet Rehabilitation and Modernization) operations. He attended Penn State University before moving to CT and received a B.S. degree in business administration at CCSU. Tom was employed by Pratt & Whitney, Meriden and Southington Hospitals, and retired from BAE in Cheshire CT in 2006 as a materials manager. Tom was a loving father and grandfather and devoted husband. He was a avid reader, enjoyed golf and gardening, going out to dinner and watching all sports including football with the Giants as his favorite team. Besides his wife Diane, he is survived by two daughters, Dawn Chiulli and her husband Frank of Westchester, NY , Lisa Edwards and her husband Michael of Taunton, MA. He also leaves three brothers Terrence and Daniel Feeley of Etters, PA; Paul Feeley of Shenandoah, PA. ; two sisters Mary Lou Brown and her husband Thomas of Virginia Beach Virginia ; and Eileen Farber and her husband William of Mohoney City, PA. He also leaves four cherished grand daughters Nicole and Sarah Chiulli and Riley and Sidney Edwards and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Patricia Seigel. A mass will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday December 3, 2009 at the St. Aloysius Church 245 Burritt St. Plantsville CT 06479. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
