Susan K. (Klemovich) Flors, 93, of Plantsville, passed away peacefully on Saturday Dec. 8, 2012 at the HCC at Bradley Memorial. She had been the loving wife of the late Albert R. Flors.
Born in Plantsville on Aug. 11, 1919 to the late Emil and Stella (Piesniakevich) Klemovich, she had been a lifelong Plantsville resident.
Susan worked as a bookkeeper at Alsop's Engineering, Rubber Cargo and New England Calendar and Novelty Company. She was an Air Raid Warden in Milldale during WWII. Susan was a longtime member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Holy Rosary Society.
She is survived by her son Mark A. Flors and daughter Susan M. Flors, both of Plantsville; her sister Antoinette Edwards of Houston, TX, her grandson Michael Flors of Farmington and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 1 sister and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday Dec. 15, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville, with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St., Southington. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Southington.
