Steven Schik

Steven Schik, 84, of Plantsville, CT passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at HCC at Bradley Memorial. He was the husband of 50 years to Magda (Szabo) Schik.

Steven was born in Hungary to the late Istvan Schik and Margaret (Tottossy) Schik. He retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft after 26 years of service. Besides his wife Magda, he leaves behind three daughters and their husbands; Elizabeth and David Stuart of Standish, ME, Christine and Thomas Turci of Plantsville, CT and Stephanie and Patrick Kelley of Bristol, CT; four grandchildren; Dylan and Shannon Stuart and Jennifer and Thomas Turci; one sister in Hungary, Lily Ribianszky; and many nieces and nephews in both Hungary and the United States.

Funeral services will be held at 9am on Tuesday August 24, 2010 from the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St. Plantsville, CT, with a funeral mass at 10am at the Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St. in Plantsville. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
