Sophia (Schwartz) Ucinski

Sophia (Schwartz) Ucinski, 89, of Southington passed away peacefully on November 21, 2011 at Southington Care Center. She had been the wife of the late Theodore W. Ucinski.

Sophia was born in Southington on December 16, 1921 to the late George and Caroline (Pacia) Schwartz.

Born and raised in Southington, she moved to New York where she lived for the next 30 years before returning home to Southington. She worked at Pratt and Whitney, retiring after 16 years. Sophia is survived by her sister Veronica Zima of Southington and her nephew Theodore Ucinski of New York. She was predeceased by her son Theodore Ucinski.
