Shirley I. (Prescher) Whiteside

Shirley I. (Prescher) Whiteside, 95, of Plantsville passed away on Thursday April 16, 2015 at Hartford Hospital.

Born October 11, 1919 in New Haven, CT to the late William and Mabel (Coddington) Wood, she had been a longtime Plantsville resident.

Shirley is survived by her two sons, Thomas Prescher and his wife Mary Lou of Tolland, CT and Don Prescher of New Port Richey, FL , and 2 grandchildren, Laura Ann Weekes of Tolland and Michael Prescher of Ellington and 4 great-grandchildren. Shirley was predeceased by her two husbands, Robert Prescher and William Whiteside. She is also survived by three stepsons, Bill Whiteside Jr. and his wife Patty, Dennis Whiteside and his wife Diane and Charles Whiteside and his wife Adrianne and one stepdaughter, Cathy Brunner .
