Sandra E. Thayer

Sandra E.Thayer, 80, resident of Southington and previously of South Hadley, MA, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022.

Sandra was born on January 15, 1942; the daughter of the late Alice and Martin Thayer Sr. of Southington, CT.

Sandra graduated from Southington High School in 1959 and then moved to Massachusetts. She worked at Fountain Plating Company and retired after 38 years, moving back to Southington.

Sandra loved making puzzles and enjoying time with her cats and birds. She is survived by her brother David of FL; sister Susan Zima of Southington; brother Martin of Southington; sister Mary Jo and Tom Gilson of Ohio; brother Paul and Janet Thayer of Southington; and brother Steven Thayer of OR; and many nieces and nephews. Sandra was predeceased by her dear friend Ruth Anderson whom she spent many years of laughs and good times with.
