Rosemarie Atterrato

Rosemarie (Orson) Atterrato, 69, of Vero Beach, FL and formerly of Southington, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025. She was the loving wife of Thomas Atterrato for over 29 years.

Rosemarie was born on June 29, 1955 in Somers, CT to the late George and Carmella (Vella) Orson. 

Rosemarie worked as a customer service manager at Caldor for over 20 years and retired from the Naugatuck Valley Radiology Associates in Southbury after 15 years of service.

In addition to her husband Tom, Rosemarie is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Cebelenski (Scott) of Southington, stepchildren, Thomas Atterrato II (Alicia) of Southington, Jennifer Knox (Kenneth) of Plainville and Amy Atterrato of Southington, 9 grandchildren, Ethan Cebelenski, Brianna Paradis (Austin), Amber White (AJ), Nicholas Testa, Alaina Atterrato, Juliana Atterrato, Kenneth Knox, Eric Knox and Haley Nelson (Josh) and 2 great-grandchildren, Emerson and Harvey. She is also survived by her sisters, Georgette Davis and Carmen Orson, both of Enfield and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Constance Songailo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025 at St. Dominic’s Church, 1050 Flanders Rd., Southington. Please meet directly at church. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours will be held from 1 – 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
