Rose (Sullivan) Chmura, 92, of Southington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015 at Cheshire Regional Health Center. She had been the loving wife of the late Stanley Chmura for 53 years.
Born February 11, 1923 in Holyoke, MA to the late Eugene and Sarah (Gottesman) Sullivan, she had been a longtime Southington resident.
Rose is survived by her daughter Joan Rancourt and her husband Clement of Plantsville and three grandchildren: Christopher Rancourt and his wife Rebecca of New Milford; Sean Rancourt and his wife Heather of West Hartford, and Monique Rancourt and Andrew Spencer of Waltham, MA; her sister Betty Sullivan of FL; 7 great-grandchildren: Kristy, Ryan, Chase, Makenna, Camden, Sophia and Max and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Eugene Sullivan and her sister Dorothy Sullivan.
