Rosanne A. Sherburne

It is bittersweet that we announce Rose has earned her angel wings and flew home to her Heavenly family.

Rosanne A. (Angelillo) Sherburne, 68, of Berlin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at HOCC in New Britain, surrounded by her earthly family.

Rosanne was born in Southington on November 10, 1954, to the late John and Anna (Palmieri) Angelillo.

Rosanne was a graduate of Mary Immaculate Academy in New Britain, Class of 1972. She worked for DXC Technologies as a Title and Beneficiary Specialist.  As a way of enriching her life, Rose gave of herself to her like spirited recovering community. She served her fellows at the local and world level. Those who trudged with her the road of happy destiny are grateful for her life of service.

Rosanne is survived by her beloved brother, John B. Angelillo, III and his partner, Alan Nadolny of Berlin, with whom she resided, her stepsons, Dennis Sherburne of Bristol and Richard Sherburne of Torrington, her goddaughter, Kaitlyn Swan of New Hampshire, her godson, Tucker Stonkus of Torrington and her beloved sister-cousin, Alexandria Johnson of Wallingford.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, from the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St. with an 11:00 a.m.  Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of St. Dominic, 1050 Flanders Rd., Southington. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington.
