Rosann Carnright

Rosann “RoRo” Carnright, 83, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 13, 2022 at MidState Medical Center after her courageous battle with cancer. She had been the loving wife of the late Allan F. Carnright for nearly 54 years.

 

Born March 4, 1939 in Waterbury, Connecticut to the late Thomas and Emily (Flammia) Gallucci, she had been a longtime Southington resident.

 

Rosann spent her time as a homemaker raising her six children. She was a longtime member of St. Aloysius church. RoRo enjoyed crocheting, baking cookies and spending time with her family. RoRo treasured her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

Rosann is survived by 6 children: Andrea Cerboni and her husband Mark of Torrington; Michael Carnright and his wife Patty of Canton; Allan Carnright and his wife Katherine of Derby; Kim Condren and her husband John; Christopher Carnright and his wife Lily and Donald Carnright and Tracey Rubin, all of Southington, her grandchildren: James and his wife Amanda, Erin and her husband Josh, Jake and his wife Alyssa, Matthew and his wife Tabitha, Rebekah, Meghan, Luke, Bryanna, Bethany, Kent, Evan, Brandon, Lex and Leo and her loving great grandchildren: Austin, Ella, Camden, Logan, Kanaan, Evelyn, Emma, Gabby and Rowan. Rosann also leaves behind her brother Paul Gallucci of Wolcott and sister, Rita Cetta and her husband John of Watertown and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband Allan,  Rosann was predeceased by her infant daughter, Karen Carnright and her brother, Ted Gallucci.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt St, Plantsville. Burial of ashes will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Waterbury. Calling hours will be held before the service from 9-11:00 a.m. at Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S.
