Ronald J. Pisaneschi, 89, of the Plantsville section of Southington, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Summit at Plantsville. He had been the husband of the late Anne (Youngmark) Pisaneschi for 48 years. He was a great husband and father.
Born October 10, 1927 in Force, PA to the late Joseph and Irene (Brown) Pisaneschi, he had been a longtime Plantsville resident.
Ronald proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked as a salesman in the carbon manufacturing industry for Stackpole Carbon Corps in St. Marys, PA.
Ronald is survived by two sons: Richard Pisaneschi and Harry Pisaneschi, both of Plantsville; his brother James Pisaneschi of Massillon, OH and his sister-in-law, Kitty Dudley and her husband Donald of Caledonia, PA. He was predeceased by his brother Francis Pisaneschi.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at St. Joseph's Church, Route 255, Force, PA 15841. Burial with full military honors by the DuBois Honor Guard will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Plantsville Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the arrangements.
