Richard J. Gnazzo

Richard J. Gnazzo, 83, of Farmington, CT, passed away at his home on Thursday, September 12, 2024. 

Richard was born on December 8, 1940 in Bristol, CT to the late Joseph and Eva Mae (Teller) Gnazzo. He grew up in Plainville and worked at the family business, Joseph Gnazzo Company Inc., in his younger years. 

Richard was very intellectual and loved arts, history, architecture and traveling. He also enjoyed nature and being active outdoors. Richard valued his family and friends and was especially close with his aunts and uncles, however, he was content being in his own company. He will be remembered for being kind, giving and meticulous. 

Richard is survived by his sister-in-law, Jane Gnazzo, many nieces and nephews and their families including, Cindy Binch, Michael Gnazzo (Beth), Jesse Gnazzo, Joey Barrieau, Bobby Barrieau, Michael Braun and Beth Wolf and cousins, Jerry and Jane Gnazzo.

In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by two brothers, Jimmy Gnazzo and Gary Gnazzo. 

A graveside service will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Friday , September 20, 2024 at Peacedale Cemetery, 115-199 James P. Casey Rd., Bristol, CT.
