Pauline A. Wright

Pauline A. (Wygonowski) Wright, 86, of Southington, passed away in Hawaii on Monday, November 3, 2014 in the loving care of her daughter, Cynthia. She was the loving wife of the late Leonard Wright for 58 years.

Born in Southington on December 20, 1927, to the late Frank and Sophie (Zwicka) Wygonowski, she had been a lifelong Southington resident.

Through the years, Pauline had worked at Peck, Stow, and Wilcox Co., Gould Allied Control, Southington Form Construction and Southington Savings Bank. She was a longtime parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church and was active in the Immaculatas Women's Club. Pauline was a loving and giving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved working in her garden.

Pauline will be lovingly remembered by her family, including her son Clifford Wright of Plantsville and three daughters: Cynthia Muszynski and husband Michael of Honolulu, HI; Karen Wright of Naples, FL and Linda Gargano and husband Jeffrey of Southington. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren; Daniel Muszynski, Christina Mares, Carina Topf and Matthew and Michael Gargano and 5 great-grandchildren: Shaiann and Keely Mares, Mia Muszynski and Cailey, Colin and Cassidy Topf. To many of her grandchildren she was known as "Splashy Nana." Pauline also leaves behind her brother Joseph Wygonowski and his wife Louise of Southington and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Kazimer Wygonowski.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 10, 2014 from the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St., Southington. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Southington.
