Pauline M. Chymbor

Pauline M. (Bizon) Chymbor, 90, longtime Plantsville resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, Sept. 21, 2015 at Masonicare. She was the loving wife of the late John J. Chymbor for 51 years.

Born June 21, 1925 in Oyster Bay, NY, to the late Antoni and Magdelena (Ochal) Bizon, she had been a longtime Plantsville resident.

Mrs. Chymbor was a longtime communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church and a former member of the Holy Rosary Society and Immaculata Women's Club. She found great comfort and strength with her faith in the Lord.

She is survived by three sons: Thomas J. Chymbor and his wife Kathleen Burch of Santa Fe, NM; Michael J. Chymbor and his wife Denise of Meriden and Matthew J. Chymbor and Reina McDannell of Baltimore, MD; six grandchildren: Adam, Susan, Sarah, Matthew, Frederick and Mary and 4 great-grandchildren: Evan, Jordan, Lucas and Jordyn. She also leaves behind her sister Julie Walas of West Palm Beach, FL, her sister-in-law, Helen Balavender of New Britain, her cousin Jenni Urillo of Southington and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Helen Wierzbicki and Jean Rembisz and her brother, Rudy Bizon.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. from the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St., Southington. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Southington.
