Patricia M. Turner

Patricia (Marek) Turner, 59, of Southington passed away peacefully at home on Friday March 2, 2012 in the arms of her devoted husband of 29 years, James J.Turner II. In addition to being a loving wife, she was the proud mother of their son Michael J.Turner.

Born in Unionville on August 20, 1952 to Mary (Sumoski) Marek and the late Andrew Marek, she had been a longtime Southington resident.

In addition to her husband and son, she is survived by her mother Mary S. Marek, brother William Marek, and nephew Andrew Marek, all of Unionville.

Patricia will be remembered for her love of family and flowers and the enjoyment she found through her many years of teaching.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia's memory may be made to the Mary Our Queen Renovation Fund, 249 Savage St., Southington, CT 06489.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30a.m. on Thursday March 8, 2012 at Mary Our Queen Church, 249 Savage St., Southington. Burial will follow in South End Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours will be held from 4-7p.m. on Wednesday March 7, 2012 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
