Pasquale Suppe

Pasquale “Pat” J. Suppe Jr, 79, of Southington, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2021 at HOCC of New Britain. He had been the loving husband of Barbara (Bellotti) Suppe for 54 years.Pasquale was born on March 29, 1942 in New Haven to the late Pasquale Suppe Sr. and Helen (Chilinski) Suppe. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Korea.

Pasquale graduated from Hill House High School in New Haven and went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Quinnipiac University. He also completed his Master’s degree in Informational Technology. Pat worked as a Systems Analyst at Traveler’s Insurance and also as a part-time professor at Post College. He enjoyed painting, jewelry making, bad dad jokes and playing the horses. He was a former President of the Southington Jaycees and also wrote several articles for handicapping magazines.

In addition to his wife Barbara, Pasquale is survived by his son Robert Suppe, daughter, Cristina (Suppe) Garcia, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Helen (Suppe) Singer and her husband, Norman and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St, Plantsville. Military honors will immediately follow. Walk-through calling hours will be held before the Mass from 9 – 10 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St, Plantsville. Face coverings and social distancing are required at all time.
