Michael Germaine

Michael Germaine, 59, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Thursday Nov. 29, 2012 at his home.

Born in New Britain on September 9, 1953 to Patricia (Burns) Germaine and the late Philip Germaine, he had been a longtime Southington resident before moving to Middletown. He worked as a self-employed carpenter.

Michael will be remembered for his love of poetry.

In addition to his mother Patricia, he is survived by 4 brothers: Peter Germain and wife Jackie of Watertown; Tim Germaine and wife Jane of Santa Rosa, CA; Gary Germaine of New Britain and David Germaine of Bristol; his sister Michelle Spagnoletti and husband Peter of Plymouth and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Henri Germaine.
