Michael Gagne

Michael Gagne, 59, of Bristol, CT passed away after a valiant battle with cancer on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Civita Care Center in Newington. He was the loving husband of Amy (Faryniarz) Gagne for 30 years. 

Michael was born in Southington on November 3, 1965 to Camille Gagne and the late Pauline (Gagnon) Gagne. He graduated from Southington High School, Class of 1984.

Mike was a down to earth, casual guy with a unique sense of humor who absolutely loved World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He was kind, generous and without hesitation would help anyone in need. Above all else, Mike was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to many.

In addition to his wife, Amy and his father, Camille, Mike is survived by his daughter, Nicole Ann Gagne and her partner Aaron Stacey of Bristol, two sisters, Debbie Belanger of Bristol and Darlene Mocci and her husband Mike of Southington, mother-in-law, Joan Batchelder of Kensington, sister-in-law, Rachel Faryniarz and brother-in-law, Raymond Faryniarz and his partner Valerie. He is also survived by three nephews, Dan and Kevin Mocci and Thomas Faryniarz, two nieces, Kari Ross (Jeff) and Sarah Bessette (Josh), five great-nieces and great-nephews, Khloe, Scarlett, Summer, Brayden and Vicki and his very dear friend, Paul McNerney of Southington. 

Mike’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staffs at both St. Mary’s Hospital and St. Francis Hospital, especially to his nurse Beth from Palliative Care, for the excellent care provided and for being so supportive throughout his cancer journey.
