My relationship with Michael goes all the way back to the 60s! I remember well, our plan to run away after being forced by our parents to attend St. Thomas Jr. High. I believe we were all of 12. Mike was older by 28 days, so naturally I submitted to his far more experienced ideology. Unemployable at that age, we were of course concerned about cash flow. Then, a miracle, we found out Carmen Gianni and Kim Judd would be joining us and we felt that was enough to tip the scales in our favor where a good time was concerned. My how we laughed. We had so many times together, some good, some bad. he was there for me when Jim Died and I for him when David passed. Friends for life we were. When Olivia left us in 2015, we were overwhelmed with mass and prayer cards, so many that I needed help getting to them. My mom opened the one from Mike, offering masses in her honor. I hadn't heard from him in a while, and to know his sorrow and feel his love was an extraordinary experience. I can remember crying and my mom saying "you sure have made some amazing friends in this world my son." How right she was, and Mike was truly one of them. Thank you for your friendship my brother, and Godspeed to our Father's house.
