Maryellen Kuczuk

Maryellen (Baner) Kuczuk, 76, of Farmington and formerly of Southington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at HOCC of New Britain. 

Maryellen was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 19, 1945. She worked in the banking industry for many years and was a former member of the Kiwanis Club in Southington. Maryellen always put others first. She was a loving and dedicated mother whose life centered around her two boys. Having a close and loving family meant everything to Maryellen. She has been reunited with her son, Ron and beloved sister, Judy.  

Maryellen is survived by her son, Michael Kuczuk and his wife Jennifer of Farmington and her 3 grandchildren, Benjamin, Evan and Kendall. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, John Weiss of Port Orange, FL, two nieces, Jodie Cormier and Deirde Cesario, one nephew, John Weiss and five great-nieces. Maryellen was predeceased by her loving parents, Michael and Eileen Baner, her son, Ronald W. Kuczuk Jr. and her sister, Judith Ann (Baner) Weiss.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St, Plantsville. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
