Maryann F. Lachowicz

Maryann F. (Buda) Lachowicz, 87, of Southington passed away peacefully on Monday July 18, 2011 at the Summit of Plantsville. She had been the loving wife of the late Karol Lachowicz.

Born August 28, 1923 in Poland to the late Vincent and Mary (Mis) Buda, she had been a longtime Southington resident.

Maryann worked as an inspector for New England Aircraft for many years. She was a member of the Immaculata Women's Club and the Holy Rosary Society.

She is survived by her son Yan Lachowicz and wife Jeannie of Bloomfield, her daughter Margo Lachowicz and husband Rick Palarczyk of Bloomfield, her sister Wanda Buda of Southington, 2 grandchildren Evan and Andria, and numerous cousins in Canada and Poland. She was predeceased by her brother Tadeusz Buda and her sister Teresa Buda.

Funeral services for Maryann will be held at 9:00am on Thursday July 21, 2011 from the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville with a 10:00am funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St., Southington. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Southington.
