Mary Lou Jewell

Mary Lou (Fiveash) Jewell, 74, of Southington, entered into Eternal Rest on Wednesday July 31, 2013 at Southington Care Center.

Born April 18, 1939 in Ayer, MA to the late Rufus and Harriet (Abetz) Fiveash, she had been a longtime Southington resident.

MaryLou is survived by her two sons, Darrell Lavoie and his wife Sheryl of Southington and Douglas Lavoie and his wife Michelle of Naugatuck; 5 grandchildren: Dawn Brinker and her husband Chris; Nicole Lavoie; Kevin Lavoie; Nicholas Lavoie and Amanda Lavoie and 4 great-grandchildren: Connor, Kaden, Zachary and Joseph. She also leaves behind two sisters, Beverly McKay and Betty Ledoux, both of Southington. She was predeceased by her sister Deanne Montague.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday August 3, 2013 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
