Mary E. (Stasilowicz) Gladchuk, 91, of Southington passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at HCC at Bradley in Southington. She had been the loving wife of the late George Gladchuk for 65 years.

Born January 11, 1923 in Southington to the late Vincent and Pauline (Recko) Stasilowicz she had been a lifelong Southington resident. Mary was the last surviving sibling of 8 children.

Mary helped her husband George run Gladchuk T.V. in Southington for over 50 years. Mary was a lifetime parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church.

She is survived by 2 sons: William Gladchuk and his wife Carol of Wolcott and Thomas Gladchuk of Southington, two daughters: Christine Patterson of Southington and Heidi Doyle of Wolcott and six grandchildren: David Patterson and his wife Natasha, Daniel Patterson and his wife Lori, Christopher Patterson and Andrew Patterson, Sean Doyle and Melissa Doyle and 2 great-grandsons, Daniel James Patterson and David Alexander Patterson, one great-granddaughter on the way and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 7 siblings: Walter, Stanley, Helen, Vincent, Edward, Jean, and Lynor and her son-in-law David Patterson.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2014 from the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St., Southington. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Southington.
