Mary E. Dewey

Mary E. Dewey, 85, of Southington passed away peacefully on Sunday April 18, 2010 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford, CT. She was the loving wife of Oliver Dewey for 43 years.

Born August 5, 1924, in Meriden, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Emma (Hill) Kingsford. Mary was a member of the Cheshire Cats Square Dancing Club.

Besides her husband Oliver, she is survived by a son Thomas Banner of Merrimac, NH, a daughter Linda Wolny of Bristol, CT, and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday April 21, 2010 at 6pm at the Plantsville Funeral Home 975 S. Main St. Plantsville CT 06479. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 4pm-6pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, Ste 1 538 Preston Ave Meriden, CT 06450.
