Martha R. Jandreau

Martha Rose Jandreau, 83, of Southington, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 6, 2015.

Born Nov. 4, 1931 in St. Francis, Maine to the late Joymie and Laddie (Thibodeau) Jandreau, she had been a longtime Southington resident.

Martha worked as a statistician at Hartford Steam Boiler, retiring in 1983. She was a longtime affiliate of the Religious Teachers Filippini Lucian Lay Order and a longtime parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church.

Martha is survived by her sister Mida Daigle and her husband Fern of Plainville and 8 nieces and nephews; Martha Geoghegan of East Hartford, Linda Violette of East Harford, Richard Pelletier of East Hartford, Ronald Pelletier of Springfield, MA, Diane Lagace of Glastonbury, Michael Daigle of West Hartford, Nancy Perrone of West Harford and Gary Daigle of Unionville and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Theresa Ouellette and her nephew Kenneth Pelletier.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St., Southington. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
