Mark E. MacDonald

Mark E. MacDonald, 52, of the Plantsville section of Southington, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, July 28, 2018.

He was born on Sept. 1, 1965 in Southington to Donald and Marcianne (Putala) MacDonald and had been a longtime Plantsville resident.

Mark worked at Companion Industries for many years. He loved guitars, photography and The Grateful Dead. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Mark is survived by his brother Brian MacDonald and nephew Dylan MacDonald, both of Thomaston.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St., Southington. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
