Marilyn (MacArthur) Moroz

Marilyn (MacArthur) Moroz, 88, of Hamden, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday August 16, 2014 at Whitney Manor in Hamden. She had been the loving wife of the late Frank J. Moroz Jr.

Born in New Haven on July 26, 1926 to the late Kelsey and Edna (Sharpe) MacArthur, she had been a longtime Hamden resident.

In her early years, Marilyn worked at Hoffman's as an Interior Decorator Consultant. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed cooking and loved animals, especially cats and birds.

Marilyn is survived by her two sons; Francis J. Moroz III and his wife Suzanne and Scott S. M. Moroz and his wife Patricia and their son Zachary, all of Hamden. She also leaves behind her children, A. Raymond Randall Jr. of Essex, MA and Bonnie Lalor of Branford and other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
