Marie "Moe" (Barnett) Glen, 56, of Southington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday Feb. 26, 2016 at her home. She was the loving wife and soulmate of Roman W. Glen for 11 years.
Born Dec. 27, 1959 in Southington to Margaret (Hubeny) Barnett and the late James D. Barnett Sr., she had been a lifelong Southington resident.
Moe worked as a barber for over 30 years. She was a longtime member of the Polish Falcon's Nest 307 and of the American Legion Auxiliary. Moe and Roman fell in love with sailing together and spent many summers on their sailboat, Always Honor, with their faithful companion Frankie.
In addition to her husband Roman and mother Margaret, she is survived by two sisters; Charlene Barnett of Unionville and Sharon Kloczko and her husband Chet of New Hartford and two brothers; George Barnett and his wife Donna of Aromas, CA and James D. Barnett Jr. of Southington; her mother-in-law Eleanor Glen of FL; three brothers-in-law, Steven Frank and his wife Diane of AL, Garry Frank of FL and Paul Frank and his wife Kathy of Southington, her sister-in-law, Sandy Snell and her husband Gary of East Lyme and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Susan Eckert and her father-in-law, Walter S. Glen.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 29, 2016 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Southington. Burial will follow in South End Cemetery, Southington.
