Marie R. Dolaczynski

Marie R. (Fiondella) Dolaczynski, 84, of Meriden, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday July 11, 2011 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden. She was the loving wife of Edward Dolaczynski for 63 years.

Born in Southington on August 15, 1926, to the late Francesco and Catherine (Massaro) Fiondella, she had been a longtime Meriden resident.

Marie worked at International Silver for many years holding various positions. She will be remembered for her positive outlook on life, her love for her entire family and for being a strong Christian. She adored her grandchildren and was an avid Yankee fan.

In addition to her husband Edward, she leaves behind her son Daryl Dolaczynski and wife Urania of Meriden; her daughter Debbie Walter and husband Doug of Killingsworth, 3 grandchildren: Daniel, David and Janelle Dolaczynski, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers: Paul, Alphonse and Angelo Fiondella and three sisters: Josephine Thomasino, Lena Mongillo and Jessie Pearsall.

A funeral service for Marie will be held at 10am on Friday July 15, 2011 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville, CT. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington.
