Margaret "Peggy" E. Boch

Margaret “Peggy” E.  (Sugrue) Boch, 73, of Southington, was taken from us too soon on Thursday June 15, 2023  after a courageous battle with cancer.  Peggy was born on March 23, 1950, daughter of the late John and Margaret (Arnold) Sugrue, formerly of Meriden, CT. 

After graduating O.H. Platt High School in 1968, Peggy started her career at New Haven Terminal for several years before taking a lab position at Meriden-Wallingford Hospital. This resulted in a 30-year career, and several different positions within Midstate Medical Center until her retirement in 2012.  After retirement she spent her time with family and friends, traveled and took on a part-time position at the Quinnipiac Polling Center. 

Peggy’s life revolved around her family and friends, citing her greatest accomplishments as her three daughters. She will be remembered for her kindness, positivity, and spirited enthusiasm. Peggy is survived by her sister, Kathleen England and husband William, her children, Sandy Minkiewicz and husband Vito, Savannah Boch, and Margaret Dandrea and husband Mitchell, along with her cherished grandchildren, Chris and Sarah Minkiewicz.  In addition to her parents, Peggy was predeceased by her nephew, Kevin England.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 5 p.m. on Monday, June 26, 2023 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
