Mae V. Morin

I, Mae Marie (Violette) Morin, was given the gift of life from John and Anna Violette that started in Van Buren, Maine, and now I have to give it back. This is hard. But I was a lucky woman who led a lucky existence, and for this I am grateful. My family was my world. I’m sad to leave behind my daughters, Dinallene (Robert) Fehrs, Sharon Langdeau, Karen Fongemie, Lynne Florian (Darrell Leece), my son Shawn Morin, daughter-in-law Doreen Scott, along with 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and several relatives and friends. At the age of 93, I left Bristol, CT on January 4, 2022, at 10:27 p.m. peacefully of natural causes for this beautiful journey to Heaven where I will join my husband Delano Morin, son Reagan Morin, my two brothers, three sisters, and numerous relatives and friends.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date due to the severity of Covid. Plantsville Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the arrangements. For online condolences, please visit www.plantsvillefuneralhome.com.

I was so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was such a sweet lady. Remembering all the times I spent at your house as a teenager. The funny thing is I saw someone that reminded me of her just the other day and I wondered where and how she was. Again my deepest sympathy and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you

I met Mrs. Morin many years ago doing her manicures. I often wondered how she was. I haven't been in the business now for 20 years but when I read this, I wanted to say how sweet and kind your Mom always was. I never forgot her. My condolences to all the family. You were very blessed.
