Lowell "Bob" R. Hodgkins, Jr.

Lowell “Bob” R. Hodgkins, Jr., 64, of CT and formerly of Worcester, MA, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, December 30, 2024. 

Bob was born on February 24, 1960 in Atlanta, Georgia to Caroline (Weber) Tartaglia and the late Lowell R. Hodgkins Sr. and spent his childhood years in Newtown, CT. Bob moved to California for the next 30 years and worked for National Semiconductor before heading back East to take a position at Global Foundries in New York. Bob spent the last few years in Worcester, MA and worked at Allegro Microsystems. He absolutely adored his cats, Luna and Mars, and he enjoyed watching Science Fiction. 

In addition to his mother Caroline, formerly of Johnston, RI, Bob is survived by his brothers, Jeffrey Hodgkins and his wife Nancy of Plantsville, John Lundin of AZ, Tom Lundin of VA, his sister, Linda Ruch of NJ, one aunt, Joan Russell of NJ, two nieces, Rachel Makowski and Candy Makowski and Ryne Griffin, both of Plantsville, two great-nephews and one great-niece, Cyrus, Blake and Karma and many cousins. In addition to his father Lowell, Bob was predeceased by his stepfather, Vincent Tartaglia and stepmother, Maria Hodgkins.
