Lisa Harris

Lisa (DeBisschop) Harris, 49, of Southington, passed away surrounded by family on Monday May 24, 2010 in New Britain. She was the loving mother of her two daughters, Molly and Rachel Harris, both of Southington.

She was born in Waterbury on February 11, 1961 to Philip DeBisschop and the late Joan (Richmond) DeBisschop and was a lifelong Southington resident.

Lisa worked for Bruce Mfg. in Plantsville for many years as production control supervisor. She spent her life trying to help everyone around her, even when times were tough. She will always be remembered for her love of Disney World. She had a great sense of humor and was always able to make everyone laugh.

In addition to her two daughters, she is survived by her 3 sisters: Linda Arundel and husband Dave of Virginia, Lori Lacourciere of Southington and Lesly Naylor and husband Wesley of Prospect; her brother Philip G. DeBisschop and his wife Remi of Newington; several nieces and nephews, and her lifelong best friend Beth Shepard.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 28, 2010 at 9 a.m. from Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville with a Mass at 10am at St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St., Southington. Burial will follow in St. Bridget's Cemetery, Cheshire. Calling hours will be held on Thursday May 27th from 4-7pm at the funeral home.
