Lillian H. Skrzypiec

Lillian H. (Lee) Skrzypiec, of Southington, died unexpectedly on Saturday Nov. 10, 2012 at the HCC at Bradley Memorial. She had been the loving wife of the late Adam Skrzypiec for many years.

Born on December 7, 1925 in Torrington, to the late William and Minnie Lee, she had been a longtime Southington resident.

Lillian worked at Coca-Cola for many years. She was an active member at the Calendar House in Southington and was a longtime member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary Group Kiltonic Post 72. She enjoyed her garden, arts and crafts and tag saling.

Lillian is survived by her 3 sons: Timothy Skrzypiec of FL; Terry Skrzypiec and his wife Linda of Bristol and Jeffrey Skrzypiec and his wife Gail of Milldale; her sister June Bobrowiecki, her favorite niece Holly Bobrowiecki, her brother -in-law Paul Skrzypiec and his wife Kitty; one nephew, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her oldest son Robert Skrzypiec and her brothers Ronald Lee and William "Sonny" Lee, who passed away 2 days before her.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lillian's memory may be made to the Calendar House Memorial Fund, 388 Pleasant Street, Southington, CT 06489.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday Nov. 15, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
