Lee A. (Paradis) Blanchette, 62, of Farmington, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at UConn Health Center. She was the devoted and loving wife of Joseph Blanchette for 35 years. 

Lee was born on June 22, 1962 in New Britain, CT to the late Jean L. and Phyllis (Washburn) Paradis. 

She worked at the Bank of America in Farmington for over 35 years. Lee was an excellent cook and enjoyed spending time with her husband Joe and their beloved dog, Harley. She also volunteered at the Salvation Army in Bristol where she met many wonderful friends. 

Lee was kind and generous and loved by everyone she knew, especially her cherished nieces and nephews. Lee’s generous spirit was evident with her choice to be an organ donor and her gift of life will continue as it has helped many people.

In addition to her husband Joe, she is survived by two sisters, Lynn Rozanski of Bristol and Desiree Gorske of Plantsville, nieces and nephews, Kristen Cassile, Jessica Allen, Dana King, Matthew and Michael Gorske and Kayla Valerio, great-nieces and nephews, Brittnee, Kyle, Hunter, Emily, Cillian, Maisie, Aoife and Sorcha and her “adopted” niece, Sabrina Arevalo. She also leaves behind aunts, uncles and cousins, her best friend, Darlene Kempton and dear friend, Tom Sullivan who offered wonderful support to her and Joe over the years. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Robert Gorske. 

Lee’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of her friends and neighbors for their loving support they have provided during this difficult time.

To offset medical and funeral expenses, contributions in Lee's memory may be made to Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville, CT 06479 (c/o Lauren).

A memorial service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main Street, Plantsville. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington.
