Kathryn S. Willette

Kathryn Sacharko Willette, 67, of Southington, Connecticut, passed away Thursday, September 23, at UConn Health in Farmington, Connecticut. Born October 2, 1953, in Hackensack, New Jersey, she was the youngest daughter of Walter and Beatrice (Monteleone) Sacharko. Kathy was a 1971 graduate of Southington High School; thereafter she moved to Florida, where she raised her family and lived for many years. Kathy was united in marriage with Leo "Michael" Willette on December 18, 1978. She was a lover of animals, great music, and a good ghost story.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, who passed away on December 30, 2011.

Survivors include her sister, Mary Swett (husband Hazen), of Southington; her sons, Zachary Willette (wife Holly) of Pinellas Park, FL, and Kyle Willette (wife Amber) of Seminole, FL; her grandsons, Quinn and Evan Willette; and one grandson Leo, whose upcoming arrival in November she was greatly anticipating. Kathy is also survived by her niece Kim DiFusco (husband Sil) of Southington, and their children Nick and Bella; and her niece Cheryl Swett of Southington. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, "Little Lin," along with several friends and extended family members.
