Kathleen Lindsay

Kathleen (Dell) Lindsay, 71, of Saint Johns, FL and formerly of Southington, CT, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2024 at the Community Hospice Center for Caring in Jacksonville, FL. 

Kathy was born on May 30, 1953 in Southington, CT, daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (Wells) Dell and was blessed with a crowning glory of red curls. 

Kathy attended schools in FL and earned her associate’s degree in medical technology and her bachelor’s degree in science. 

Kathy was brave and had a sense of humor like no other. She will be remembered for her kind heart and for marching to her own drummer; melodically sweet, slow and beautiful, just like her. 

Kathy did not fit into anyone else’s mold. She knew she didn’t always fit in but it did not bother her. She was proud to be her own person, a quality that was most endearing. She also loved to travel. Most importantly, Kathy was a loving and devoted wife and mother, cherishing the time she shared with her husband, Ron and son, Robert. 

Kathy is survived by her husband Dr. Ronald Lindsay and their beloved son, Robert Lindsay, both of Jacksonville, FL. She also leaves behind siblings, Marcella Montagano, Jonathan Dell and Timothy Dell.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in South End Cemetery, Southington.
