Kathleen Mary Flynn-Gleeson

Kathleen Mary Flynn-Gleeson, 69, of Southington, CT, passed away peacefully with her sister, Maureen and cousin Sharyn at her side at HOCC at New Britain on Friday, November 10, 2023.

Kathleen was born on December 14, 1953, in Southington, CT to the late Bernard J. Flynn. She enjoyed being by the water, feeding and watching hummingbirds and peacocks, the theatre, music, visiting lighthouses, and being with her family. She will be remembered for her constant faith, her love of anything Irish, her willingness to help and her love and generosity to others.

Kathleen is survived by her mother, Martha (Griswold) Hull of Plantsville, her daughter, Mari Masters and 2 grandchildren Jessica and Kayleigh. She is also survived by sisters Maureen Hayes-Smith, Eileen Hawkins, Erin Flynn, brother Bernard M. Flynn and stepmother, Frances Flynn. She also leaves several nephews, nieces, and cousins, as well as her church family in California.

She was predeceased by her sister, Margaret “Peggy” Flynn, brother-in-law, Joseph Smith, and niece, Breanna Joy Hayes.

Donations in Kathleen's memory may be made to The Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden to help protect the peacocks she loved so much.
