Kate Ryann Forsten

Kate Ryann Forsten, born August 4, 2008 at Fort Bragg N.C passed into the arms of Our Father on October 20, 2009. She was the beloved daughter of Lt. Col. Robert and Roberta (Lipetz) Forsten and loving sister to Hanna, Cameron, Chloe and Alex Jayne.

In addition to her parents and sisters, Katie leaves her grandparents Karen Forsten of Frederick, MD, Gary Forsten of Erie, PA, Doris Lipetz of Plantsville, CT, Peter Lipetz of Newington, CT; Aunts and Uncles Mark and Kathy Forsten, Diane and Todd Pisko, Bart Lipetz, Carol and Douglas Knox; and loving cousins.

Family and friends are welcome to express their condolences at Plantsville Funeral Home at 975 S. Main Street, Plantsville, CT on Thursday October 29th from 4-7 PM.

Services for Katie will be held on Friday October 30th at 11:00 am at Plantsville Congregational Church, 109 Church St., Plantsville with Rev. Richard Koenig officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, New Britain.

Contributions in Katie's memory may be made to Operation One Voice- a program to help support the immediate needs of children and families of wounded and fallen Special Operations Forces.
