Judith (Snow) Zeil, 66, of Waterford, MI formerly of Southington and Cheshire passed away Wed. May 26, 2010 in Pontiac, MI. She was the wife of the late Theodore Zeil.
Born Jan. 5, 1944 in New Britain to the late Francis and Olive (Bell) Snow she had resided in Southington, Cheshire and Meriden for many years before moving to Michigan.
Judy worked for ACS in Michigan. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church, Southington and later a member of the Berlin Congregational Church where she served as treasurer and was active in Church World Service. She will be remembered as a loving, giving, compassionate woman to everyone she knew and for her many years of volunteer service. She dealt bravely with her cancer and had a strong, enduring faith in her life.
She leaves her very special friend and companion, John Harris of Waterford, MI., her loving son and daughter; Robert Hardy of Meriden and Patricia Gioia of Southington; two sisters, Gloria Spain of Farmington and Vivian Smith and husband Ralph of Southington; one aunt, Mildred Bell of Meriden; two grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Gioia, one niece,three nephews and several cousins. A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 10 a.m. at South End Cemetery, Southington. Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville is assisting the family with arrangements.
