Joyce L. Schreier-Paradise

Joyce (Lyon) Schreier- Paradise, 69, of Southington passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 2, 2013 at HCC at New Britain General.

Born September 25, 1943 in New Britain to the late Harry and Yvonne (Fox) Lyon, she had been a longtime Southington resident.

Joyce was an active member in the Order of the Eastern Star, elected as Grand Ruth and past Matron. She was also a former member and mentor of the Rainbow Girls.

Joyce is survived by her husband Edward Paradise of Southington, two sons, William Schreier and his wife Janine of Old Saybrook, CT and Christopher Schreier and his wife Deborah of Andover, CT; two granddaughters, Hope and Emmy Schreier and her brother Kenneth Lyon and his wife Leslie of Forestville, CT. She was predeceased by her first husband Bela L. Schreier.
