Joseph (Bert) Guerrette

Joseph (Bert) Guerrette, 78, a former long time resident of Southington passed away peacefully on Thrusday February 4, 2010 at the Amberwoods Home of Farmington Ct. The husband of the late Patricia (Prior) Guerrette.

He was born October 7, 1931 in St. Agatha Maine to the late Paul and Cecile (Corriveau) Guerrette. He surved in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Mr. Guerrette is survived by a daughter Gail Asaro of Calf. And a son Paul Guerrette of Ala., a brother Camille Guerrette of Newington, a sister Dorothy Beaulieu of West Gardner Maine, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a step-mother Mattie Guerrette and his first wife Jeannine (Cote) Guerrette. The family would like to thank the staff of Amber Woods Health Care of Farmington especially Diane and Amy for their excellent care of Joseph.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday Feb. 9, 2010 at 8:45 a.m. from the Plantsville Funeral Home and 9:30 am at the St. Thomas Church 99 Bristol St. Southington. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Plainville. Calling hours will be on Monday Feb. 8,2010 from 5 to 8 pm at the Plantsville Funeral Home 975 S. Main St. Plantsville Ct. 06479.
