John M. Prytula, 78, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 30, 2012 at Brittany Farms Health Center in New Britain.
Born August 18, 1933 in Salisbury Corners, NY to the late George Prytula and Catherine (Eckert) Prytula Miliski, he had been a resident of Hartford, Southington, Plainville and Bristol.
John proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was very patriotic. He was a born again Christian for 40 years and a longtime member of the First Bible Baptist Church in Plainville where he served as an usher since 1984. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and he is with his Saviour now. He was a sincere person with a very dry sense of humor.
He is survived by his brother Robert Miliski and wife Carol of Plainville, his sister Arlene Hauser and husband Peter of Marriottsville, MD and his niece Hannah. He was predeceased by his step-father Henry Miliski.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday June 2, 2012 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Southington.
