John E. Fietkiewicz

John E. Fietkiewicz , 64, of Southington passed away at his home on Monday Oct. 15, 2012.

Born June 16, 1948 in Southington to the late John and Virginia (Fusco) Fietkiewicz, he had been a lifelong Southington resident.

John served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force National Guard. He worked as a material handler at G.E., retiring after many years of service. He was an avid Yankee and Dallas Cowboy's fan.

John is survived by many cousins, several aunts and uncles and his beloved dog Jake.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday Oct. 20, 2012 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
