John Alderuccio

John Alderuccio, 87, died Friday October 8, 2010 at the Summit at Plantsville. He was the beloved husband of Faith (Favreau) Alderuccio for 61 years.

Born on July 31, 1923 to the late Ceasario and Beatrice (Mezzio) Alderuccio, he was a long-time Southington resident.

He is survived by 2 children: Stephen A. Alderuccio and wife Janet of Waterbury and Donna Jarry and husband Paul of Southington; 6 grandchildren: Lorinda, Rit, Kevin, Aaron, Jason, and Graham; 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind 2 brothers, James Alderuccio and wife Doris of Bristol, Joseph Alderuccio of Kensington and 1 sister Mary Aguzzi of Niantic.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday October 12, 2010 at 10:00am from the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at Mary Our Queen Church, 249 Savage St., Southington. Burial with full military honors will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours will be held on Monday October 12, 2010 from 4-8pm at the funeral home.
