Jared P. Anderson

Jared P. Anderson, 37, of Wallingford died suddenly on Monday, May 2, 2016. Through his happiest times, as well as through his struggles, he was surrounded and supported by people who loved him: his beloved wife Julie Anderson; step children, Emily and Ethan Bau; parents Peter and Margaret Anderson (Marion); grandmother Betty Anderson (Southington); aunts and uncles, Marceille and Bob Crookes; Stan and Deb Malinowski; Bill and Eileen Chmura; Elaine Anderson; David and Rose Anderson and cousins: Ben, Nate, Jason, and Sara; in-laws Betty and Bill Long (Durham); Kaori and Bill Long, Jr. (Japan); along with many friends of Bill W. and his little buddy, Henry. Jared was predeceased by grandparents: Len Anderson, Stan and Mary Malinowski, aunt "Cook" Chmura and cousin Elizabeth.

Jared was raised in Marion and graduated from Southington High School. He will be remembered for his extraordinary wit and unique sense of humor that drew people to him. He was able to expound with convincing authority on virtually any topic and his family awarded him an honorary "BS" degree. Jared was passionate about his work as a Production Manager at Pyramid Time Systems in Meriden. Aside from his family and work, his avid interests included hiking, mountaineering, cycling and guitar. Jared's artistry in the kitchen was not to be outdone and was greatly enjoyed by others.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 145 Main St., Southington. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2016 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
